Swimming

Dear Parents,

I am happy to announce that KG and Grade 1 students will take part in their second swimming unit starting on April 6th – May 6th.

In preparation for the upcoming unit we recommend having a special “Swim bag” for every PE lesson. The “swim bag” should contain:

• Swim Suit
• Swim Goggles
• Towel
• If your children has long hair, a Swim cap or Rubber band
• Plastic bag for the wet towel and swim suit

We will be teaching the students under the guidelines of Starfish Aquatics Institute. Swimming is life long activity. Our goal is to make all AISD children safe and comfortable in the water. We encourage families to reinforce the learning in class through swimming after school and on weekends.
