We are so excited for Fun and Games Day tomorrow! Today we spent time making our own sort of tie dye on our shirts. They turned out great! Carla's artwork of the whale on the front looks beautiful and we are excited to make our debut as the KG-M Splashing Whales. We kept our shirts at school so that they won't accidentally be left at home, and all children will change into them tomorrow morning. They cost 400 taka each, and if you can send that in sometime within the next week it would be appreciated. Please make sure your child comes with a water bottle tomorrow and a hat if sunny.
Once again, if you would like to come watch your child participate in tomorrow's festivities, you can meet us on the big field at 12:40.
Note:
If you would like to do this activity at home, all you need are
colorful Sharpies (or other permanent markers), and rubbing alcohol.
Make the shirt taut over a cup or other open surface with the help of a
rubberband, draw a small design, and drip drops of rubbing alcohol over
the design with a pipette. Watch as the colors spread!
