We have done some more exciting experiments in KG-M. After reading the book "Bartholomew and the Oobleck" by Dr. Seuss we made our very own oobleck out of cornstarch, water and green food coloring. We realized that this substance sometimes behaves like a solid, and behaves like a liquid at other times. We call these "non-Newtonian fluids".

We made another fun non-Newtonian fluid called flubber, which your children are bringing home today. It was so exciting to see how the flubber behaved compared to the oobleck!!
