Upcoming Performing Arts Events

Dear KG Parents, 

We have a number of performances coming up in May for our KG performers!  

The first two performances are usual performances for our KG students:  the K-2 Performing Arts Revue and the Senior Transition Day:   

• On 28 May, in the afternoon, KG students will have a Performing Arts Revue with first and second graders.  They will be singing two songs:  Celebrate, Celebrate and the Hello Song.  In addition, each class will be performing an item of their choice for the concert. 
• On 29 May, in the morning, KG students will be helping the school send off our Seniors during their Senior Walk through/ Transition Day.  This year, our KG students will be speaking an excerpt from 'Oh the Places You'll Go' by Dr. Seuss.  Each student has been assigned a line that they will need to practice and memorize for the Senior Walk Through/ Transition Day.  

Our newest commitment, and perhaps, the biggest and most exciting is that we have been invited to be a part of the Wizard of IB!    The three KG classes will combine to perform at the beginning of the Wizard of IB as minions (from the movie Despicable Me).  The performance dates for the Wizard of IB are 22-24 May with Thursday and Friday performances at 6 pm and a Saturday performance at 1 pm.  Further details will be sent out at a later date.
